The sessions for the CPD Day will feature:
Session 1. A Review of current and potential commercial dust outlets that are utilized and could be utilized at Brayford Quarry to increase volume of 0/4mm dust sales through the implementation and utilization of the Sales is a Science (SIAS) tools by Jack Thomas, Territory Sales Manager - Aggregates (Devon and Cornwall) for Heidelberg Materials
Session 2. Mates in Mind - Claudia Trotter, Support Manager - A talk on real issues in the industry around mental health, highlighting the reality of the situation, while also engaging with the audience and educating around actions companies can take to encourage change
Session 3. Health and Safety Engagement and Collaboration - Mark Stallard, Safety Horizons - The workshop will involve practical tips on achieving positive engagement within our industry and how we can use them to collaborate with other stakeholders. Case studies and a practical exercise will also be included where attendees can work in small groups and discuss how this can be maximised in a normal working environment.
