Description

The Yorkshire branch's next technical event is Drill & Blast Techniques at the Woodsmith Mine Shaft Sinking Project presented by Neil Webster of Joseph Gallagher. Neil has spent the last 21 years in the drilling and blasting industry, with experience in underwater, quarries, tunnelling and shaft sinking. On his current project at Whitby, he is responsible for all aspects of the drill and blast process. The presentation will run through the methods used to drill and blast the MTS Shaft. It is full of photos with absolute minimal text. A hot buffet will be served at 18:00 followed by the presentation at around 18:30
