Description

The first event of 2025 for the Derbyshire branch is a presentation by Alex Harrison of Tough Enough to Care, followed by Wanda Zablocki of the IQ Benevolent Fund (IQBF).

Alex, who is a trained and qualified mental health tutor, will be talking about better mental health, safe conversations and lived experiences. The presentation will take the format of a short mental health first-aid session.

After Alex's presentation, we will be joined by Wanda Zablocki from IQBF who will be giving us an update on how the fund is managed, what it can do and how it can help our members and families in times of need.

Please note that the date has been brought forward to Tuesday 28th January 2025 from what is published in the programme.

A light meal and refreshments will be available on the night which is kindly sponsored by the Mineral Products Qualification Council (MPQC). MPQC provides assessment services for employers and training providers in the mineral products industry and has developed the MP Connect Card that is only granted to drivers whose competencies match site requirements.
